Does the Chocolate Fountain
use real chocolate?
|
Yes, we use a
high quality Belgian Chocolate.

How much chocolate do you
provide?
|
Our pricing
includes for the medium fountain, 20 lbs. of chocolate. We offer additional
chocolate in 10 lb. increments at $75.00 per 10 lbs.

How many people will the
Chocolate Fountain serve?
|
The medium
fountain is normally adequate for 200-225 people.
|
|
Do I have to set up, tear down,
& clean up the Chocolate Fountian?
|
Fortunately, we
do all the work for you. We will arrive at your special event at least 30 minutes
prior to the designatd starting time. The fountain will then be carefully set up
and the chocolate will be melted and flowing elegantly so your guests will smell the
sweet aroma of chocolate when they begin to arrive. We then will clean up and dismantle
The Chocolate Fountain when our time has ended. You will only have to enjoy party!
Our package includes a staff member to attend the fountain.

How long can I have The Chocolate
Fountain at my event?
|
Our package
includes use of The Chocolate Fountain for 3 hours. This does not include
set up and tear down, which are done on our time. If needed, additional hours
of service at $50 per hour.

What Are The Table &
Electrical Requirements?
|
Since The
Chocolate Fountain weighs approximately 100 pounds when full, a level,
sturdy table is a must. If it is not level, the chocolate will not flow
properly. Your banquet facility should provide two table linens that will
coordinate with your color scheme. The Chocolate Fountain requires a 120 volt
grounded electrical outlet within 10 feet of the setup location.

What Accompaniments Can Be
Used With The Chocolate Fountain?
|
Examples would
be: strawberries, pineapples, marshmallows, pretzels, crème puffs, cookies, biscotti, maraschino cherries, etc.
Use your imagination! These items do not have to be expensive to be a crowd pleaser.
Please keep in mind that any crumbly-type food that may fall into the fountain
will cause the chocolate to get lumpy and not flow properly. Angel Food and
Pound Cake are NOT recommended.

Who Provides The Accompaniments?
|
Many hotels and
banquet facilities do not allow outside vendors to provide food items - that is
either included with your package or an additional item for you to purchase
through the banquet facility. Typically your caterer will provide you with
accompaniments. We can provide the accompaniments if you wish at an additional
cost depending on what items you choose.

Do You Provide The Decorations
For Around The Chocolate Fountain?
|
Absolutely – we
can provide an elegant fabric wrap for the base, typically a black tulle to
hide any chocolate drippings. If you would like additional decorations, we
will be happy to accommodate you. You will need to provide the specifics
(colors, theme, style, etc.) at time of booking.

Can The Chocolate Fountain Be
Used Outdoors?
|
NO, Because of
the chocolate’s sweet aroma, little flying pests are very likely to be
attracted to the chocolate. Beyond that, maintaining the temperature of
chocolate is critical for continued smooth operation. This would be difficult
to accomplish in an outside setting along with any breezes or wind that could
spray chocolate everywhere.

Our pricing
includes delivery & setup at any facility located within a 75 mile radius of the
Owensboro, Daviess County area. We will service other areas in the tri-state area
for an additional travel charge. Please call for more details.

Do You Require Reservations &
A Deposit?
|
Yes, we require
a reservation, a signed contract and a 50% deposit at the time of booking.
Reservations are limited and are on a first come, first serve basis.
The balance of your payment is due at least 14 days prior to the scheduled
date of your event.
